Makra is a scenic peak in the Hazara region of the Himalayas in northern Pakistan. It is 3,586 metres (11,765 ft) high and almost 200 km from Islamabad on Naran Road.

Nathia Gali or Nathiagali (Pashto: نتھیا گلی‎, Urdu: نتھیا گلی) is a mountain resort town or hill station in Hazara, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is a part of the Galyat range, where several hill-stations are situated , closely connected to each other, and with their names mostly ending in 'Galli'. Nathiagali is known for its scenic beauty, hiking tracks and pleasant weather, which is much cooler than the rest of the Galyat due to it being at a greater altitude. It is situated 34 kilometers at one hour's drive away from both Murree and Abbottabad, lying midway between these two places. The drive time from Islamabad is usually about two hours, unless there is a lot of traffic.



About CIIT


COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) started its journey in 1998, and established its first campus at Islamabad in April 1998. In August 2000, in recognition of CIIT's achievements, the Federal Government granted it the status of a Degree Awarding Institute (DAI) through promulgation of its charter. The CIIT, besides its principal campus at Islamabad, has six other fully functional campuses at Lahore, Abbottabad, Wah, Attock, Sahiwal and Vehari, while six more campuses at Gujrat, Kotli, Karachi, Larkana, Quetta, and Peshawar are in the works. The CIIT is also exploring opportunity for opening an overseas campus in the Gulf region.
The CIIT is now slated for up gradation as a university by the name of ‘COMSATS University’ through an Act of the Parliament.
 Mansehra (Hindko/Urdu: مانسہرہ) city is located at 34°20′N 73°12′ECoordinates: 34°20′N 73°12′E[1] in Mansehra District, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is very near Abbottabad city. It is a major stop for tourists on the Karakoram Highway which leads to China. It is also a major transit point to the northern areas and locations such as the Kaghan Valley, Naran, Shogran, Lake Saiful Mulook and Babusar Top.

A very famous tourism spot and picnic point on Nathia Galli Abbottabad road.“Harnoi” It is about 10 km from Abbottabad on the Nathiagali Road. A beautiful small town in the foothills, infact it is the hub of activity from small villages around.It is an emerging tourist spot because of the fact that it is very near to Abbottabad. A few minutes drive from Abbottabad takes you to this place, evenings are very enjoyable as there is s lot of hustle and bustle.It is surrounded by the mountains with a flowing river in between.




 Hazara University is located in Dhodial town, Mansehra District, Hazara in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The town of Dhodial is located near to the city of Mansehra (the capital city of the district). It was formed in the building and land of Government Mental and General Hospital Dhodial. Hazara University has three faculties: the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Health Sciences.
The university was founded in 2002 .Hazara University started its operations with meagre resources of one small building for academics and a small administration block. Initially Departments of Information Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Education, English, Islamiyat, Cultural Heritage and Tourism Management, Journalism and Mass Communication, Disaster and Rehabilitation Management, Botany, Genetics, Environment Sciences, Economics, Health and Physical Education, Arts and Designing, Political Sciences, Physics, Mathematics Law, and Department of Management Sciences started operations. University include of three campuses namely, (i) Garden campus (at Dhodial, Mansehra) (ii) Havelian campus (at Havelian) and (iii) Haripur campus (at Haripur). The university is currently ranked at No. 8 in General Universities category of HEC rankings 2011.




Abbottabad /əˈbɒtəbɑːd/ (Urdu, Hindko: ایبٹ آباد Ābṭ ābād [aːbʈaːˈbaːd̪]) is a city located in the Hazara region of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwaprovince, in Pakistan. The city is situated in the Orash Valley, 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of the capital Islamabad and 150 kilometres (93 mi) east of Peshawar at an altitude of 1,260 metres (4,134 ft) and is the capital of the Abbottabad District. It borders Azad Kashmir to the east. The city is well-known throughout Pakistan for its pleasant weather, high-standard educational institutions and military establishments.

Ayub Medical College (AMC) (Urdu, Pashto, Hindko: ایوب میڈیکل کالج) is a leading medical institute and one of several medical colleges affiliated to Khyber Medical University located in Abbottabad, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.AMC is home to 1400 students in the MBBS and BDS programs, with clinical rotations occurring at Ayub Teaching Hospital. The school has a large and experienced faculty to support its mission of education, research, and clinical care. Faculty members hold appointments at basic sciences and clinical departments. There are approximately 100 full and part-time faculty members consisting of lecturers, assistants, associate and full professors at AMC.

Hazara (Hindko: هزاره, Urdu: ہزارہ) is a region of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It comprises six districts: Abbottabad District,Battagram District, Haripur District, Kohistan District, Mansehra District and now, since 28 January 2011, the new Tor Ghar District. It is a region that has many languages and ethnicities.
